Somali Environmental Development Organization (SEDO) Participates in Science Week at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya
The Somali Environmental Development Organization (SEDO) proudly participated in the Science Week 2025, held at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON). The event brought together scientists, researchers, policymakers, youth, and civil society organizations from across Africa and beyond to showcase innovations, share knowledge, and discuss how science, technology, and innovation can support sustainable development and climate action.
SEDO’s participation highlighted the organization’s commitment to promoting climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and community-based adaptation in Somalia. The team engaged in various sessions focused on climate-smart solutions, sustainable agriculture, disaster risk reduction, and green technologies. It was also an opportunity to network with key stakeholders and explore potential collaborations with international partners.
